Hiral Rathwa is a 19 year old tribal girl from Motaghoda village, Kawat Taluka in Vadodara. Her father is a poor farmer. Though an only daughter, her parents and two brothers wanted her to focus on domestic duties. Inspite of all the opposition she managed to complete her 12th standard.
She approached IMS Proschool during a mobilization drive and expressed her ambition to be a working girl like many of her neighbours. The mobilizers convinced her family to let her pursue the training and work.
Today her father remarks, “I am very happy to see my daughter working in a big mall and earning money like a son. She is working in a large shop D`Mart in Vadodara and her salary is Rs. 6000/- per month.”
SHILA TADVI, hailing from a very poor tribal family, completed her 12th standard inspite of the family’s financial condition. Her father a farmer barely manages to take care of his 2 daughters and 2 unemployed sons. At 22 she was looking for an opportunity to add to the family’s income. She heard about the free Retail Sales training and placement opportunity availed by a friend and decided to enroll for the course.
At the end of the one-month course this shy girl had metamorphosed into a confident sales person. Today she works at D”Mart Vadodara for a salary of Rs.7000/- per month.
On how this training helped her, she remarks, “Now that I am working in D`MART, my life has changed and I feel great, as now I have an aim in my life, thanks to Proschool. ”
Vijay Rathwa, a 21 year old tribal boy, hails from Jamli village of Kawat Taluka, Vadodara. A 12th pass, ambitious boy, he was interested in a white collared job when he enrolled for the Retails sales course at Proschool.
His teachers found him very sincere and keen on developing his skills. After class he would spend time in the computer lab working on improving his typing skills. He speaks passionately about making it good in life.
After his training, during the interviews he was selected by Pantaloon Retail as a counter sales person with a monthly salary is Rs.6500/-.
Alkesh Bodar comes from Bavliyapal village of Bhiloda Taluka ,District Sabarkantha. His family consists of seven members. His family lives in utter poverty with a temporary shelter over their head. His family’s only source of income is farming. Since the childhood he saw his father and mother working hard on fields to support the family. Being the eldest among the siblings he was desperate to do something meaningful to help his family and to provide better education to his siblings. After appearing in 12th std. exams enrolled himself in the 1st batch of Insurance and wealth Management batch of the IMS Proschool Vanbnhu Yojna program. He was an introvert but the once the training started he started enjoying it and was transformed completely into a confident and expressive young man.
Soon after the completion of the training he was placed with India Infoline a corporate Insurance Agency with a salary of five thousand +incentives at Ahmadabad. While rest of his batch mates who were placed along with him left the job fearing the target pressure but he trusted his guts and stayed there alone. Within a short span of time he earned eleven thousand rupees and company rewarded him by providing free accommodation and was made team leader. Today, Alkesh is not only enjoying success in his career he is also extending helping hand to other youth like him. And has emerged as a role model for his community and other candidates at IMS Proschool.
